Concern about the spread of COVID-19 has roiled our financial markets and our daily way of life. We have all been advised to limit unnecessary social interaction and avoid large groups and gatherings to the extent possible in an effort to stem the rate at which the virus spreads in our community. Certain communities and localities have now been instructed to “shelter in place,” and others may soon follow. Courts throughout the State of Georgia are now operating pursuant to a statewide judicial emergency declaration that will, for a time, impact some of the operations of our state’s judicial system.
This will be a very challenging time for all of us, but we at Chance, Forlines, Carter & King are prepared to continue to provide excellent client service and to address the needs of our clients, future clients, and co-counsel. We will continue to assess and evaluate cases for our clients and co-counsel, and we will continue to advocate on behalf of our existing clients by working to guide their cases towards resolution and full justice.
Below are some of the ways the Chance, Forlines, Carter & King team will be able to continue our work on behalf of those who place their trust in us:
- Electronic Access to Case Critical Documents – Our firm stores all case files in a cloud-based server. We have remote access to all that we need, providing us round-the-clock access to those records on our secure database from anywhere. These capabilities make us well-positioned to service our clients during this difficult time.
- Work-from-home Capability for Key Personnel – Because we have set up electronic access to case critical documents, our team at LCFCK is experienced with working from home to address the needs of our clients. We will continue to do so as long as current health concerns require more time away from the office for our key personnel.
- Continued accessibility via phone, email, and our confidential, 24-7, one-on-one online chat system – If you have any questions or concerns about your case, our team remains available to serve you. Our phone service remains operable, and we have the ability to forward phone calls and voicemails to the right team member to address our clients’ needs. We also continue to have round-the-clock access to our email. Finally, our website permits us the ability to have confidential, one-on-one consultations with clients and future clients and to advise them on key aspects of their cases. All of these capabilities remain available, and we will utilize each of these tools to serve our clients, future clients, and co-counsel.
While our nation faces a difficult and unchartered time over the next weeks and months, please rest assured that we have planned and prepared to continue our work on behalf of those who have put their trust and faith in us. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us online or by phone at 404-760-7400.
