Janeen Smith represents people and families in medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases throughout Georgia. Janeen is a passionate advocate with a detail-oriented approach to litigation. From finding critical witnesses to tracking down key documents, Janeen is committed to turning over every stone during the litigation process to build the strongest case possible for her clients.    

Janeen began her career as a defense lawyer handling a wide variety of legal matters including, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect, trucking, and premises liability cases. Now representing people and families harmed by negligence, Janeen leverages her familiarity with defense strategy to maximize recovery for her clients. 

Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, Janeen graduated with her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University. She earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law where she was an active member of Emory’s Moot Court Society and recognized as a Graduating Woman of Excellence.

Outside of the office, Janeen loves spending time with her family and pets at their home in East Atlanta. She is an avid runner and an Atlanta United fan.
