Riding a motorcycle is often very enjoyable, and most people who choose to do so understand there is an increased need to ride safely. Unfortunately some auto accidents seem to be unavoidable when the other driver is simply not paying attention or driving negligently.
This appears to have been the case in one recent unfortunate accident that killed a motorcyclist. The Atlanta man was riding south on Cobb Parkway near Paces Mill Road when a red 2009 Mercedes was attempting to make a U-turn on Paces Mill Road. The motorcycle rider was unable to avoid the car making the turn, a collision occurred and the rider was thrown from his motorcycle. The rider was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Mercedes was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
When a loved one is injured or killed because of the negligence of someone else, it is often an incredibly difficult process for the family to go through. Knowing that someone was responsible for the injury or death of a loved one is hard, but then having to foot the bill for the many costs associated with that loss just makes it that much more difficult for the family. For that reason, it is often necessary to bring a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit against the perpetrator of the accident. That way, the medical bills, funeral costs, loss of income and any other associated costs, including the emotional toll, can be recuperated.
Nothing can ever bring back the loss of life when a loved one is killed in an auto accident. However, seeking out assistance to deal with that loss is often necessary to start moving on.
